All humans are both with the innate need to communicate and have something essential to say. We work together, developing excellent classical technique, best performance practice, and confidence to achieve the artists goals in any genre. Our work is done in joy, and designed to empower singers to make their own well informed artistic choices. I provide performance opportunities, RCM examination opportunities and guide students through creative endeavors, further education and career choices.
In the interest of safety, all lessons are currently offered online. Available formats are Zoom and Facetime.
Bridget Hogan is honestly the best vocal teacher I have ever had. Not only is she an extremely talented soprano, but she is also an excellent teacher and human being. She knows exactly how to get me to sing in a way that is healthy and comfortable. I was afraid if my range before, but she has taught me to harness my high notes. I am usually very nervous but Bridget has taught me to be confident in my voice. She goes the extra mile for her students and treats me like family...I have never felt more loved or safe as a student. Katherine Ertman, soprano
Bridget is one of a kind! As my voice teacher she has encouraged me to explore my passion for music. With her, I fell in love with opera, connecting with an art form that I would never have pursued on my own. Now I can't imagine life without it. Learning from her expertise has allowed me to grow, not only as a musician but an an artist and a person. Carina D'Urso, soprano

Students who have not been enrolled in a regular lesson needing coaching leading up to an important audition or call back. These sessions are specifically geared toward nailing the audition! The more I can know ahead of time, the better off we are:)
I do play for all of my students to the best of my ability, but am not a professional pianist! If you are sure of your accompaniment and want to work specific details, diction and presentation this is for you.
I am grateful to work with some of the best collaborative pianists in New York, and would be happy to book one for you. This is a great option for a mock audition setting, cramming call back music (we've all been there), or recital preparation. I am happy to make a simple video recording (I-Phone) for your personal use to study afterward.
Maybe you're in town for a limited time, and want to stay fresh while you audition, or you are planning ahead for auditions for continuing education. If you know you'll need more than one hour, this is a way to save a little money. Sessions never expire, i understand that life happens fast.
